Stock tank and float repair

Getting livestock water tanks and floats working again after cattle tear them up.

Cattle are hard on water tanks. A broken float or torn-up wiring can leave a pasture without water. Territory Drilling repairs stock tanks and floats, and adds protection so the setup holds up against the herd.

Recent job

Repaired stock tank, full of water, with a new float protected by a steel pipe guard
The repaired tank: new float, new wiring, and a guard to keep cattle off it.

A recent repair

Cattle tore this tank and float up! After a little new wiring and a new float and some protection from future cattle, it's ready to rock n roll!

That job, posted on our Facebook page in August 2026, came down to three fixes:

  • New wiring to replace what the cattle tore up
  • A new float
  • Protection from future cattle, so the same thing doesn't happen next month

Tell us what happened

When you call, let us know where the tank is, what it's fed from, and what's broken or not filling. Photos help if you have them.

If the problem is the well itself, see well flushing or water well drilling.
